Game Design

Don't just play games, make them! Learn about the free and low-cost game engines available to create games. You'll learn a lot about game making, from how to tell a story to how to tweak characters. Enjoy seeing and playing the games others make in class, too.

You'll learn how to make menus, control movement, and set up scoring. Along the way you'll make some cool graphics and animations for your game. Then, you'll find out how to publish your game to the world.

Each workshop meets four times, 1.5 hours each meeting
$ 108 (pre-registration price)
$ 128 (late registration price, available only if space available)

Note: To benefit from this class, you should have some computer experience, ie, already know how to use the Internet, how to use a mouse, and how to send eMail.

This workshop is for ages 9 – 15.
